Modular managed switches (MMS)
The modular manageable Factory Line switches solve every Ethernet installation task in industrial environments - adapted to the respective connection needs. In other words: Number of ports, connector and transmission medium. The MMS is the first industrial switch, that can be extended universally from 8 ports to up to 24 ports. For the first time, highly modular 2-port interface modules allow a flexible cable exit:

Thanks to the support of Rapid Spanning Tree in accordance with IEEE 802.1w and the extension Fast Ring Detection, fast network redundancy is available, which makes switchover times in the range of 100..500 ms possible.

Managed compact switches (MCS)
The managed compact switches (MCS) are compact block switches, which are available as pure 10/100 twisted-pair versions with 16 ports; alternatively, a variant with two glass fiber interfaces (100 BASE-FX multimode) and 14 twisted-pair ports is available. All twisted-pair ports have autonegotiation and autocrossing functions, thus providing the best conditions for "Plug and Work". As in the case of MMS, the MCS are suitable for PROFINET realtime and Ethernet IP applications and redundant network structures with fast switchover times.
Lean managed switch (LMS)
The compact lean managed switches are available as pure 10/100 twisted-pair versions with eight ports; alternatively there are two variants with two glass fiber interfaces (100 BASE-FX multimode or singlemode) and four twisted-pair ports available. The LMS have autonegation and autocrossing functionality and support non-proprietary redundant network structures with Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol IEEE 802.1w, fully fledged network management with SNMP and have an integrated web server for extensive configuration and diagnosis mechanisms.
The lean managed switches are suitable for the extended temperature range (-40 to +70°C).
