Fiber optic media converters for various POF/HCS fiber technologies, glass MM and glass SM are available for interference-free connection and coverage of long distances. Depending on the application and the required range, distances of 50 m, 300 m, 10 km or 40 km can be covered.
The new fiber optics T-coupler also allows you to switch from the classic fieldbus to industrial Ethernet systems without having to change the familiar networking philosophy. To this end, the device is equipped with two copper and two fiber optics interfaces with reliable POF/HCS technology, with a distance of up to 300 m able to be bridged.
The integrated Rapid Spanning Tree (RSTP) and Fast Ring Detection redundancy mechanisms ensure high availability and flexible structuring of any line, star, tree and redundant ring structures.
The IGMP Snooping, Multicast Filtering, V-Lan and Port Mirroring management functions regulate the distribution of data volume, thus securing operation in all industrial Ethernet systems such as PROFINET, Ethernet/IP or Modbus-TCP.
