Responsibilities
- To develop and deliver clear and compelling sales strategies designed to increase market share for a world class brand of products.
- To accelerate sales via our channel partners, and also to seek and develop new business in numerous target industry segments in order to achieve and ideally exceed demanding commercial objectives.
- Take ownership for achieving aggressive revenue and income targets.
- To ensure Brand Leadership across the region in all key industry segments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree within an engineering discipline, with at least five years experience in the industrial, electrical / electronic, automation, or process control sectors.
- A results oriented professional with a passion for achieving targets and an intolerance of under performance.
- A clear and demonstrable track record of significant success in account management and business development.
- A genuine team-player, capable of building strong relationships and networks, with the skills to influence people within Phoenix Contact and its external stakeholders, across all levels.
- Strong organisational, structured thinking and problem solving skills are essential.

The company employs over 9000 people throughout the world and is represented by 43 wholly owned subsidiaries throughout Asia, America, and Europe. Phoenix Contact is considered to be the worldwide market leader in the area of industrial interconnection components and systems designed to serve the application requirements of an extensive multitude of industry segments, Utility, Building Automation, Transportation, Petro-Chemical, Automotive, Telecomm, Security, to name but a few.
The UK subsidiary was founded in 1985 and employs 40 people. The company is supported by a network of industrial distributors, and whilst our current position in the market is far from being the leading position the opportunity for growth is tremendous.
