Handling and installation

Screwing on correctly

The correct setting for the QUICKON nut is marked on the connection with the markings I, II and III. In the case of thin conductors, the cable clamp type cage must close more for the conductor strain relief to become effective.

Thus, with thin conductors, the QUICKON nut must be tightened more than with thick conductors.

Connecting again

The QUICKON connection can be rewired up to 10 times with the same conductor cross section. In the case of rewiring, the conductor must be cut off and the connection completely re-established.

To remove the conductor, the nut is completely screwed off and the splice body is removed from the connection with a commercial Philips screwdriver (blade width: 3 -4 mm).

Additional bridging

A conductor exit can also be used for bridging functions by simply cross wiring a core.

Quick check

The QUICKON-H distributor has four conductor connections. If only three connections are assigned, a conductor exit is available for test purposes during startup or servicing.

Simple assembly

The assembly clip QPD-CLIP 2,5 BK is available for simplifying the assembly of the QUICKON-H distributor.

The H-distributor is simply snapped on after the clip has been assembled and can then be removed again without using tools by pressing the positive latches together.
