Modular terminal blocks with a system for measuring points and actuators

Every measuring point and every actuator in the system indicate a variety of terminal points in terminal boxes, sub-distribution boards, main distribution boards and control rooms. These also include the zone divisions with the protection type in which the system parts are designed and which have terminal points. This does not exactly facilitate the routing of signals.

Irrespective of whether you want to use the screw, spring-cage or QT fast connection technology, the accessories for the CLIPLINE complete modular terminal block system such as labels, bridges and test adapters are standardized and thus help you in cutting down on the storage costs.

All modular terminal blocks of the CLIPLINE complete system are passive, simple electrical equipment in accordance with the IEC/EN 60079-11 standard and can hence be used in the installations of the "Intrinsically Safe" (Ex i) protection type.

This passive equipment does not require any special approval if the measures described in the IEC/EN 60079-11 standard are adhered to.

Almost all feed-through terminal blocks of the CLIPLINE complete system are IECEX and ATEC certified. The terminal blocks fulfill the requirement of the "Increased Safety" Ex e degree of protection and may be installed in zones 1 and 2.
