CLIP PROJECT Planning software

Fast and practical planning of terminal strips is supported by a comfortable Windows user interface. The following functions are proof of the capability of CLIP PROJECT:

• Intelligent product selection supported by photos,
• Configuration of the terminal strip, including logics test,
• Immediate color visualizing of the configured terminal strip,
• Autocorrection, which automatically positions the cover, the end brackets and the separating plates,
• Generating the parts list, CAD drawing and labeling data,
• Output of data to printer, plotter or as a file,
• Data output in AutoCAD.dxf format,
• Data transfer to MS Excel and MS Word,
• CSV interface for data exchange with other CAE systems,
• Management of user databases and material numbers.

Data exchange with EPLAN 5 and EPLAN 21 means the terminal strip can be generated automatically without any manual entries. The interface to EPLAN 5 and EPLAN 21 is bidirectional. All the terminal strips are automatically added to CLIP PROJECT from the EPLAN project. CLIP PROJECT evaluates such data as conductor cross section, labeling and function of the required terminal blocks. The correct products are written back to the EPLAN project.

In addition, the program checks that the design of the terminal strip is correct, and adds covers, separating plates and end brackets automatically. If the space provided on the DIN rail is not sufficient, the program will suggest multi-level terminal blocks. The color illustration generated is added to the EPLAN project.

Regardless of whether you want individual products or configured terminal strips, the production information is output to the printer, plotter or as a file.
