Immediate availability of the data
If a fault occurs in your system, the corresponding message is forwarded via INTERBUS and Ethernet to the Diag+ diagnostics software. At the touch of a button, information such as system plans, photos and data sheets stored in DiagNet show the maintenance engineer the direct route to the faulty device. It is no longer necessary to interpret error codes. Instead, plain text messages are displayed and malfunctions can be remedied on the spot.
Identical information status
It makes no difference whether you are using your PC in the office, standing at an industrial PC at the machine, or out and about with your pocket PC in the plant - You will get the same comprehensive diagnostic information provided by DiagNet no matter where you are. That saves lengthy walks and intensive searches, thus cutting downtimes.
Central data maintenance
When all your system data is on one central server, data maintenance is made considerably simpler. Since any changes to the documentation only have to be entered once, stored information is updated rapidly. Time-consuming and faulty data updates for each individual station are not necessary
