The basic elements of our solution

DiagNet, our diagnostics concept, is based on the Interbus diagnostics software Diag+ in conjunction with visualization software and other standard tools such as Acrobat Reader and Eplan View, the circuit diagram viewer. The solution is complemented by sturdy industrial PCs on which the maintenance engineer can call up all the relevant diagnostics data directly in the plant. System plans can be stored as an image file, with the faulty bus device marked in the detailed view. Visual prompts guide the maintenance engineer to the site of the fault. The engineer can also view the data sheet of the registered device via DiagNet and of course the corresponding pages of the circuit diagram. The database integrated in Diag+ gives repair instructions to guarantee fast troubleshooting.


Convenient diagnostics software

Our Diag+ software allows this network diagnostics tool to be linked directly into other applications. Graphically processed diagnostics information can thus be displayed in the visualization system, for example, without any extra programming. The user can call up tips from a knowledge database in the software to speed up troubleshooting.


Industrial remote operating software


With the aid of our NetCap software, you can remotely operate several Windows computers via Ethernet or wireless LAN. In conjunction with a pocket PC, NetCap becomes a universal diagnostics tool with intelligent zoom functions making it possible to use even devices with a small display. A user manager protects against unauthorized access.



Flexible operating and monitoring systems


Phoenix Contact has the perfect device for all requirements. Our Panel PCs provide a powerful, inexpensive and compact system platform for control and system operation - with either a keyboard or a touch screen. Our Touch Terminals often manage without a hard disk and have the NetCap remote operating software as a standard. And it is hardly necessary to say that all the devices can be used in a harsh industrial environment.
