Fieldline - Simple installation directly in the field!

With the new Fieldline system, Phoenix Contact has created a field installation system with IP65/67 protection that opens up new possibilities with respect to

• Bus openness
• Ergonomics and
• Flexibility.

The high degree of protection for the installation design means that the number of control cabinets can be minimized or the cabinets even excluded completely. Both connections to sensors and actuators and the bus connection should ideally be implemented with ready assembled sensor/actuator cables to reduce installation time to a minimum.
Direct installation in the field reduces cable routes, thus allowing for more compact designs and reduced service time.
Because Fieldline includes both stand-alone and modular designs, it can be used in almost any application.
Openness to INTERBUS, Profibus, DeviceNet and CANopen makes integration in any control platform possible and is an important criterion for choosing Fieldline as a long-term investment.
