4-port switch for industrial application

The FL Switch 4TX/FX Ethernet switch from Phoenix Contact enables quick and cost-effective network expansion of up to 10,000 meters via fiber optic cables. This makes the switch ideally suited to decentralized network solutions. With a width of just 45 mm and an easy, configuration-free installation, this is the ideal Ethernet port for control cabinets.

You can connect additional network segments or end devices to the four twisted-pair ports. The switch supports 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps transfer speeds even in mixed mode. This enables the connection of network segments as well as participants with the same or different data transfer rates. Data collisions are thereby avoided. The autocrossing function renders the differentiation between the 1:1 and crossover types of cable assembly superfluous. Using the LWL port, the segment length of the network may be expanded up to 10,000 meters.
