CLIP PROJECT Automation
CLIP PROJECT, Version 5 provides comprehensive support for simple and fast configuration of automation components and other Phoenix Contact components.
The clear organization, divided into product groups such as Inline and Fieldline, means that the individual modules can be found fast and selected from the product tree.
The technical details necessary for project planning are displayed for the individual product. For the automation components, the user has a detailed data sheet for this purpose.
After an Inline I/O station has been put together from the various modules and functions, a plausibility check can check the configuration of the station and carry out an optional auto-correction.
After configuration comes the documentation. Parts lists, illustrations of the components used, dimensions, labeling etc.
These data can be passed on to applications such as MS Excel or MS Word using Drag & Drop or export functions.
The following formats and contents are provided for data exchange:
- Parts list, CAD drawing and labeling data
- Data output in AutoCAD DXF format,
- Data transfer to MS Excel and MS Word
- CSV interface for data exchange with other CAE systems
- Management of user databases and material numbers
- Interface to Phoenix Contact labeling software CMS-MARK-WIN
CLIP PROJECT with its different interfaces saves the task of integrating different components, and the extensive documentation options also save a great deal of time during project planning.
