The heavy industrial plug connectors of the HEAVYCON range can now be easily connected also with the Quickon fast connection system. Stripping is thus a thing of the past and special tools are no longer needed. However, 60% time saving is still achieved during connection of the globally used HEAVYCON-B series for 400 V and 16 A. The Quickon connection for the plug connectors is the same shape as the QUICKON modular terminal block of Clipline and guarantees that rigid and flexible conductors of up to 1.5 mm² can be connected at least ten times.
Complete control cabinet feed-through with Quickon
The HEAVYCON QUICKON inserts offer high contact quality, have a test connection and are available with 6, 10, 16 and 24 positions.
Contact inserts are available on the mounting side, and terminal block adapters are provided for the control cabinet feed-through. The HEAVYCON terminal block adapters with QUICKON connection offer a combination of plug connectors and space-saving connection element in the control cabinet.
1. Using the screwdriver, the orange Quickon slide is inserted into the long opening as far as it will go.
In the case of the control cabinet feed-through, the plug connector with QUICKON insert is connected to the QUICKON adapter from the outside and is thus jet-proof in acc. with IP 65.
The QUICKON inserts are compatible to trademark standards with screw, crimp or spring-cage connections, and fit well into all common plug connector housings of the B and E series.

2. The conductor can be fixed by exerting a slight pressure with the thumb on the slide so that it is kept in position during connection.
Low-cost plug-in coding included
A novelty is the low-cost plug-in coding of the QUICKON inserts. It serves as a safety device against several identical plug connectors being plugged in incorrectly. Red coding profiles are simply inserted into the correct slots of the contact inserts and clamp automatically.
3. The QUICKON slide is actuated as far as it will go by simultaneously levering the screwdriver and exerting pressure with the thumb.
