MKDS 10 HV - The 600 V UL PCB terminal block
Due to the design of its soldering legs, the new high performance PCB terminals MKDS 10 HV has the unlimited 600 V UL approval already in 10.16 mm pitch. The individual terminals that can be snapped onto each other through dovetail guides with higher number of positions, have the soldering pins arranged either at the front on position 1 (MKDS 10 HV/...-F-10.16) or at the back (MKDS 10 HV/...-B-10.16). By alternating these individual terminals, the Zick-Zack pinning is achieved and subsequently the air and creepage distances are maintained to fulfill the 600 V.
The PCB terminal block thus allows a UL equipment rating of 600 V with no problem at all without additionally having to comply with UL 508 C and 840. An additional advantage is the compact design with the contact spacing of 10.16 mm.
The entire MKDS(P) 10 product range and thus also the MKDS 10 HV can accommodate a connection cross section of 16 mm² and thus transmit a rated current of 76 A.
