Get plugged onto the PCB with 76 A
POWER COMBICON PC 16 are high-performance plug connectors with an enormous safety reserve. If a 16 mm² conductor is connected, the PC 16 contact system allows a current carrying capacity of 76 amps. Power electronics go pluggable and easy to service.
The inverted versions of this family make these plug connectors of particular interest for use in frequency inverters and similar drive components, since they provide shock protection on the device side even when the plug is disconnected.
There are also versions with a shield connection to connect shielded conductors.
Even a modular design for the devices is possible with the PC 16 plug connectors - It is thus possible to transmit currents of up to 76 A from PCB to PCB. Coding pins in the headers help to avoid mistakes when mounting components on the PCB.
