Current transformer up to 300 A for direct, alternating, and distorted currents

The new MCR-SL-CUC-...-I universal current transducers are able to measure currents of any waveform and convert them into a 4...20 mA analog signal.

As such they are ideal for use in photovoltaic systems, since they provide an alternative to using shunt resistors to measure direct currents, a method which is both expensive and prone to losses.

The low tolerances mean that the transformers can even be used in closed-loop control circuits to adjust solar panels or make pitch settings in wind turbines.

Their compact dimensions make them ideal for use in small control cabinets. The modules' versatile mounting options and pluggable connection method are also very useful features.
