System Cabling for the Inline Automation System
The latest addition to Phoenix Contact’s Varioface system cabling range now enables connection to the Inline automation system’s input/output terminals. Thanks to this, wiring is considerably reduced and takes just a few steps. The new front adapters are easily plugged into the 16- and 32-channel Inline automation terminals and linked to the Varioface controller boards using pre-assembled system cables.
These are available as passive components with different connection methods through to blade isolation. The active components with relays and opto couplers can switch loads up to 250 VAC/10 A and cope with startup currents of up to 130 A - a particular advantage for lamps and capacitive loads.
In comparison with integrated relays, the use of 32-channel Inline high-density terminals and a downstream relay level requires 30 % less space.
