What is a firewall?

What is EDGE?
EDGE or E-GPRS is a data transmission service in the GSM mobile wireless network. It allows economical IP communication through the Internet - e.g. through a safe VPN tunnel.
EDGE connections are good value since billing is done on the basis of the volume of data and not the duration of the connection. With up to 220 Kbps, EDGE provides up to ten times more performance as compared to GPRS.
