The hybrid motor starters offer up to four functions for your motor in a single device.
The choice is yours: from the basic "1 in 1" direct starter through to the "4 in 1" reversing starter with motor protection and emergency stop.
CONTACTRON switches motors up to 4 kW quickly and reliably.

What is hybrid technology?
A combination of wear-free solid-state technology and rugged relay technology controlled by a microprocessor that enables "gentle" switching.
This considerably reduces the load on the relay contacts and increases the service life of the device at least ten fold compared to purely mechanical standard solutions.

The four functions
- Right rotation
Easy control via a 24 V DC or 230 V AC signal.
- Left rotation
Reversing function including a locking circuit and load wiring.
- Motor protection
User-friendly protection by means of the electronic motor protection relay with automatic and remote reset function.
- Emergency stop
The integrated safety function enables use in safety applications.

Technical data

CONTACTRON solid-state contactors and motor manager
CONTACTRON solid-state contactors and motor manager are durable and cost-saving alternatives to mechanical contactor technology.
CONTACTRON solid-state contactors are used in applications where frequent, fast, and wear-free switching is required.
For drives of any rating, the CONTACTRON motor manager permanently monitors the effective power of the motor and provides protection for motors and systems.
