INTERFACE Monitoring - Application examples

INTERFACE Monitoring modules allow you to monitor important network and system parameters cost-efficiently and continuously. And you can save yourself complicated bus systems or small controllers with additional programming effort. Thanks to the simplest installation and startup, you will achieve interference-free and efficient operation of your system.

Undercurrent monitoring

Remote maintenance: Lamp monitoring or electric heating in battery units

If consumers fail, the current consumption drops. When the minimum limiting value is reached, a signal is sent to the remote monitor that service personnel can be activated.

Undercurrent monitoring

Undervoltage monitoring

Undervoltage monitoring
Message: Battery undervoltage

The battery voltage is recognized as undervoltage and a signal sent as soon as a set value is reached.

Phase sequence monitoring

Direction of rotation detection of conveyor belt drives.

Swapping two phase conductors alters the direction of rotation of three-phase induction motors.

Phase sequence monitoring

Temperature monitoring of motor windings

Temperature monitoring of motor windings
Protection from motor overload.

By monitoring the PTC resistors on the motor windings, the motor is protected against overload.

Retriggerable release delay

Automatic switch-off or signalization of a conveyor belt

If there is no pulse within the settable time, a signal is sent and the conveyor belt is switched off.

Retriggerable release delay

Switch-on delay

Switch-on delay
Protection from overload when a conveyor belt is switched on.

To avoid overload, conveyor belt 1 must first be switched on and then belt 2.

Switch-off delay

Protection from overload when a conveyor belt is switched off.

To avoid overload, conveyor belt 2 must first be switched off and then belt 1.

Switch-off delay
