Phoenix Contact becomes a member of the M2M Alliance

On July 1, 2010, Phoenix Contact became part of the M2M Alliance, an open initiative for users and providers of M2M (machine-to-machine communication) solutions.


The aim of the M2M Alliance is to further develop and expand the use of M2M technologies and to promote technical harmonization.

In becoming a member of the organization, Phoenix Contact undertakes to support its interests.

At the Hanover Fair 2010, Phoenix Contact launched a program of cooperation with Vodafone to offer customers turn-key solutions comprising modems, SIM cards, commercial contracts, and professional service.

Together with the M2M Alliance, Phoenix Contact will promote the many and varied opportunities opened up by the current and future technologies and will provide industry-compatible, application-oriented communication solutions, alongside its cooperation with Vodafone.
