RT Ring Lug Terminals - bolt connection terminals
The rugged bolt connection terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact have been developed for wiring the ring cable lugs comfortably. An important characteristic is the integrated screw locking with a spring lock washer. This prevents it from becoming loose on its own and thus rules out the need for maintaining the connection.
Up to four cable lugs can be positioned on one bolt depending on the design. All types of conductors of up to 240 mm² can be thus wired securely and with long-term stability.
Material properties
All metal parts of the bolt connection terminal blocks are made of corrosion-free materials. The current-carrying metals consist of high-grade copper alloys.
Due to their good electrical conductivity, they ensure a low temperature rise. The surface is protected by a lead-free, galvanic nickel or tin plating.
This elastic plastic with high impact strength is halogen-free and UV-resistant. Further characteristics are the good tropical and termite resistance, high chemical resistance and the excellent aging characteristics.
Polyamide 6.6 can be used with operating temperatures up to 130°C and is certified for the inflammability class V0 in accordance with UL 94.
