Circuit breakers and feed-through terminal blocks
The more varied the tasks in electrotechnology, the more varied must the components for solution be. The industrial connection technology from Phoenix Contact hence contains more than just modular terminal blocks.
Circuit breakers
For the optimum protection of your systems, Phoenix Contact offers high-quality circuit breakers in the following versions:
- Thermal circuit breakers TCP are ideally suited as device protection for the AC and DC consumers, e.g. to protect motors, transformers and actuators against overloads.
- Thermomagnetic circuit breakers TMC combine the advantages of the thermal and the magnetic trigger mechanisms and are typically used in information and communication technology as well as process control.
- Electronic circuit breakers ECP are designed specifically for the selective protection of all load circuits that are fed by a 24 V DC power supply unit. They respond to overload or short circuit faster than the power supply unit, and they selectively disconnect this faulty load circuit before the power supply unit disconnects all connected loads to protect itself.
Feed-through terminal blocks
The feed-through terminal blocks from Phoenix Contact are always used when currents of different magnitudes have to be guided through a panel. They are available in three designs:
- To snap into the housing panel
- For molding for fully-insulated transformers and filter modules,
- As feed-through terminal blocks for high currents.
