Device marking

Explicit labeling of the electrical and electronic control cabinet components is a prerequisite for safe and effective work. As with comprehensive technical documentation, labeling all items increases the availability of the switchgear and simplifies maintenance Last but not least, equipment identification improves the quality of the control cabinets and systems.

Phoenix Contact offers a wide range of labels and tags. Depending on the type, they can be labeled using BLUEMARK, thermal transfer printers, the plotter, engraving devices, commercially used desktop laser printers or by hand.

The equipment is often identified using labels. Thermal transfer printers are the best option for this. This type of labeling is good value for money and is characterized by extremely good wipe and scratch resistance. That is why Phoenix Contact now offers fixed labels for labeling using thermal transfer printers. Self-adhesive labels are made of a two-layer material that can be ideally labeled using the new engraving device for the plotter, and are particularly lasting in case of frequently used buttons and switches. They are available in a number of sizes and color combinations.

Contact us if you do not find a suitable size or color for your application in our product range. Needless to say then that Phoenix Contact offers a comprehensive engraving and labeling service in the field of device marking. Give us a challenge!

Labels for commercially used desktop laser printers

Labels for commercially used desktop laser printers
For small quantities or in case a thermal transfer printer is not available, Phoenix Contact offers labels that can be printed using commercially available desktop laser printers. Sheets are provided with margins so that labels can be removed easily.

The use of textile labels is recommended for items that need to be replaced frequently or for curved surfaces. They can be removed and glued on again easily. The textile structure also enables the gluing onto curved surfaces or corners.

Self-adhesive device markers on UniCard sheets can be labeled using the BLUEMARK printer or the plotter. The labels can easily be separated from the sheet; partly used UniCard sheets can always be reused.

Label sheets

The GPE label sheets consist of a two-layer material that is ideal for engraving, e.g. using the P1 ENGRAVING UNIT of the CMS-P1 PLOTTER. However, the pre-fabricated self-adhesive labels can be labeled directly by hand or using a plotter.

The contactor label Zack marker strip can be inserted in a multitude of standardized marker grooves. It serves to mark contactors, valve connectors as well as SAB sensor/actuator boxes.

Device marking

Devices are marked with PAB-SK using an insert strip that is slid into the self-adhesive transparent sleeve. The insert strips can be labeled using BLUEMARK or a plotter.
