Mounting material

Secure mounting of electrical connections and components in switchgear and control gear can be made time-saving with suitable mounting facilities. The space in the control cabinet can be used optimally by combining the mounting accessories appropriately.

DIN rails form the basis of the "insides" of the control cabinet. They guarantee a secure hold of the rail-mountable components. Phoenix Contact provides a wide range of standardized rails made of various materials. They can be supplied cut to length with pre-drilled holes.

Supports and mounting clips are available for mounting the DIN rails. The rails can also be connected diagonally with the angled adapter.

End brackets are used for a secure lateral hold of the components, especially in the case of jolts and vibrations in the systems. Depending on the application, they must be either fastened using screws or simply snapped onto the DIN rails as in case of CLIPFIX series. Due to their slim design and the variety of labeling options, they are ideal for the visual separation of individual terminal strip blocks.

They thus lead to a better sub-division and overview in the control cabinet. The covers from Phoenix Contact ensure user and system safety. Even here, a wide product range is available for all applications.

In the construction of control cabinets, the NS 15 and NS 35 DIN rails are characterized by a high degree of dimensional accuracy and double surface tempering. They are also galvanized and thick layer passivated. The DIN rails conform to the European standard EN 60715.

The NLS-CU 3/10 rail comes into its own, both for equipotential bonding for the installation terminal blocks and for the use of SK shield connection clamps. These materials fulfill the requirements of RoHs.
