Shield connection clamps

Shield clamps by Phoenix Contact are suitable for all conventional cable shields and enable EMC-compliant wiring through extensive surfaces as well as short and low-ohmic contact transitions.

Simple assembly

Shield clamps by Phoenix Contact provide maximum wiring convenience. Only after the terminal strip is wired is the shield clamp mounted by swiveling and turning the knurled screw.

Safe contact

Safe contact
Supports for shield clamps from Phoenix Contact are simply snapped onto the DIN rail. The ground potential is automatically connected to the neutral busbar with the help of the integrated contact metals.

No special tool

Conductors with a diameter of 2 to 35 mm can be optimally connected with the SK series shield clamps without using any special auxiliary tool.

The shield supports AB-SK... connect the ground potential of the DIN rail to the PEN conductor busbar using integrated metal plates.

The braided shield is usually connected to the ground potential of the system. Large surfaces in order to guide the ground potential reduce the emitted interference and the effect of the antenna.

PEN conductor busbar

Even the 3 x 10 mm PEN conductor busbar can be snapped into the contact zone quickly and reliably. The ground potential is thus automatically connected to the neutral busbar.

Simple handling

The double support enables easy handling with optimum EMC properties for the two-sided contact area of a shielded conductor. Either an insulated or a grounded structure can be set up quickly and efficiently.

Similar to the SK series as regards the structure, supports with SK ...-D terminal blocks can be directly mounted on the mounting plate or the back panel. These terminal blocks are simply swung in using conductors into two appropriate elongated holes.

Supports with lateral metal inlay are used in PEN conductor busbars or T-shaped compact supports AB-SK/E for free positioning of shield clamps on the mounting plate.

The shielding can also be connected with the ground potential insulated to protective earth ground. Here, appropriate contact is established with the PEN conductor busbar using a pick-off terminal block.

Terminal blocks with a front connection can be most easily wired using higher supports. Therefore, even multi-level terminal blocks can be connected with short wiring paths in an EMC-compliant manner.
